Teva reflux drugs: FDA warning

Patients have been advised by the administration of drugs and food to Lanoprazole drugs generic acid reflux administration by oral syringe or feeding tubes, manufacturing by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
Although the product has been safe to take by mouth with no complaint of patients managed, administered, however, there have been reports of obstruction for patients that is administered through syringes. The manufacturer has voluntarily withdrawn the drug on the market however FDA has warned his Web page is might be still in existence in many pharmacies or facilities or in the possession of the patients.
The Tablet is made in such a way that dissolves completely when water is added to it. But reports from States that Teva tablets may not dissolve completely and can also form bumps entails the possibility of getting stuck to the walls of syringes or feeding tubes. There have been cases where patients require their feeding tubes and immediate and emergency medical care required to uncover immediate.
FDA has confirmed that it would be the consideration of this issue and hopes of remedies for the problem of Teva.
